Most people will notice amazing changes after the first session.  This is also designed to help you release stress and anxiety that often leads to overeating and eating disorders.   If you are not completely delighted after the first session, pay only $49 for the hypnosis session and the self hypnosis CD is yours to keep.

- A Note From Bill -

I have helped many people with weight loss, and also with some eating disorders.  It is an area I specialize in, and I would like to explain more about it.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with hypnosis, so I will not assume anything and give you some basic information.  Hypnosis is not mind control or putting someone to sleep as we commonly see in the movies.  The purpose of hypnosis is to help you access your subconscious, which is where so many of our decisions are made.  If it were as simple as using logic, the only people with weight problems would be the ones with medical conditions.  Since we are driven by desires, this becomes a subconscious decision that is often stronger than will power.

This subconscious desire can come from several possible areas.  Sometimes it is a conditioned response, or habit that is triggered by anything we anchor it to.  It may also be a product of something in our subconscious that we are not aware of.  I can give you and example of my own history on this.

For many years I had an uncontrollable urge to eat ice cream every night.  No matter how full I was, I would still eat the ice cream, often having second helpings.  Through hypnosis, (and the help of a fellow hypnotist) I was able to trace the source back to my childhood.  My mother loved to have her ice cream every night, and I would always eat it with her.  When she died, this became my physical connection to her, and that is when I developed the urge to eat ice cream every night.  It was not the ice cream I desired.  It was the feeling that the ice cream gave me because of my memories that was driving me.

The hypnotherapist gave me suggestions that my mother would want me to eat healthier and have control of my life.  I still enjoy ice cream ocasionally, although it is now just a treat and not an uncontrollable urge.  I also lost 20 pounds without dieting.

The purpose of the hypnotist is to help people resolve issues and integrate their desires.  Weight control is a matter of helping someone change their habits by guiding them to their subconscious and helping them change their desires.  This can be very effective, even if they have had some past experiences that influence them like I did.  It makes it a little more challenging, because the past experience can have a strong pull on the subconscious.  If there is an underlying issue or experience, the therapist will use regression therapy, which is basically taking someone back through their life experiences to find that experience(s).

Experiencing hypnosis is very pleasant.  The level of awareness is really up to the individual.  Unfortunately, the movies have portrayed hypnotists as mind controllers, making some people feel a little tense the first time they experience hypnosis.  No one can make someone do anything they do not want to do, or that goes against their values.

Most hypnotherapists will expect to meet with a person several times.  The first time is get some back ground information, understand what problems the individual is dealing with, and a short session to experience being in a state of hypnosis.  As I mentioned, the hypnotist is only there to guide you and offer suggestions.  The depth of the state someone experiences depends on their comfort level.  The deeper the experience, the more powerful the changes will be.

After that, there will be more sessions to help the person deal with whatever they want to change.  Generally there is one final session to help build self esteem and self worth.  This is because so many issues are anchored by negative beliefs or feelings.

I hope this gives you a little more insight into the process of weight control with hypnosis.  If you have more questions, or if I can be of help, please let me know.

Make every day special,
Bill
